Born in 1940 in Nuremburg, Germany. President and CEO of Murphy/Jahn.
Honored in 1991 by the AIA, as one of the ten most influential living
American Architects.
Helmut Jahn architectural works have included; One and Two Liberty
Place (Philadelphia). the Northwest Atrium Center (Chicago), 425 and
750 Lexington Avenue (New York), Kemper Arena (Kansas City), Xerox
Center (Chicago) the European Union Headquarters, The Hotel Kempinski
(Munich), the United Airlines Terminal at O'Hare International, the
Messe Frankfurt Convention Center in Germany and the 120 North LaSalle
Street Building in Chicago.
Mr. Jahn has taught architecture at both Harvard University and Yale
University.
